It's sounding really good so far, based on the track they put up. They're launching a large tour but no CO dates yet :violin:

CD comes out this week, preorder through his myspace, yadda yadda yadda

Anyone else been keeping up with Dax in the last few years?

He put up a few new tracks a day or so ago. Good stuff, I'm really liking it. Gravedirt gets stuck in my head a lot. I'll certainly be buying this one after I get the other Dax vinyl which is in the mail now. Red with black splatter  Another notch in my vinyl-color wheel.

Hmmph, got boned. The vinyl is red but there is no black splatter :sadvampire:

It's a bit rare to find color vinyls of music YOU LIKE but a splattered version is so much sweeter. I take joy in the hunt, like someone who searches for rare comics. I found the rare comic but its been cut down the middle. :chop:

Great disc, though

I don't have it, yet. I've heard about half of it, though. Sounds good so far.

If you're pulling for a Grand Junction gig, I'm going to put in for a Ft. Collins show. I just can't drive that far.

I just saw the front page- Dax and TPB at one show. :burn: There should be a whole tour of just that.

It sounds like revival, like dead things coming back to life in a otherworldly ways. The more I listen to this sacrilegious soul music, the more I hear the future.
Anyone else really bummed about that skeletal circus closing down? good things can't last forever...

I never made it to the SC but about half of those folks are on A Board With No Name now. Good crowd- they really dig TPB, too. I wish I could smash this and that board together.

When I met Dax four years ago I was wearing a Those Poor Bastard's shirt. Because I had that shirt on he sat at my table and talked for 15 minutes about playing a show with TPB.
I kinda miss the old SC, I was and admin at one point on that site.

See any of you there?

I'm actually opening for Dax on night 2 in Denver. I'm going to do a mash of TPB, Hank III, and Tom Waits songs. Wicked stoked. :hang:
